George Amedore, Jr.’s win in the race for the 105th Assembly seat represents another positive step forward as the Republican Party continues to rebuild here in New York.
Outnumbered by Democrats in a seat under Democrat control for three decades, Assemblyman Amedore won because he worked hard and listened to the people.
Assemblyman Amedore clearly understands that New Yorkers need lower taxes, a more business-friendly approach to create jobs and common sense criminal justice measures to keep our families safe.
It clearly demonstrates that core Republican principles, like the ones so clearly defined by Assemblyman Amedore in this race, overwhelmingly resonate with New York’s hard working families.
This victory is the result of the dedication of Assemblyman Amedore, Minority Leader Tedisco and the talented people who worked tirelessly on the campaign. I congratulate Assemblyman Amedore on his victory and look forward to much future success as he represents the people of Schenectady and Montgomery Counties.
