David Previte Esq. - General Counsel

David Previte is a native of Rome, NY and has been serving as General Counsel to the New York Republican State Committee since 2008.  David advises the Committee on matters relating to campaign finance, party organization and election law and has completed professional training through the FEC, NYS BOE and the RNC. 

Prior to joining the Committee he worked as an attorney with the Special Funds Conservation Committee in their Albany, NY office. 

David received his Juris Doctor and Master of Public Health Degrees from the University of Pittsburgh and his Bachelor’s Degree in Employment Relations from SUNY.  He was admitted to the New York Bar in 2007. 

While studying full time for his law and graduate degrees, David clerked at several law firms and was awarded a graduate student research scholarship position through the University of Pittsburgh’s Department of Health Policy and Management.  His research focused on bio-terrorism legislation, public health legal preparedness and response, and the issuance and enforcement of large-scale public health orders.
