Michael Lawler - Executive Director

Michael Lawler is a native and life-long resident of Rockland County.
In 2009, Michael graduated from Manhattan College as the Valedictorian of his class, earning a degree in Business Administration. Michael doubled majored in the fields of Accounting and Finance, earning him induction into Beta Gamma Sigma and Epsilon Sigma Pi. While at Manhattan, Michael served as President of Beta Alpha Psi, Chairman of the Dean of Business Student Advisory Committee, and a member of the Dean of Business Search Committee.
During the course of his college tenure, Michael worked at Yankee Stadium as a vendor and began his political career working on Senator John McCain's 2008 Presidential Campaign.
He joined the Republican State Committee in November, 2009, as a member of the Field staff and served as Political Director from July 2011 until his appointment as Executive Director. During that time, Lawler worked to coordinate efforts between the State Committee and the various County Committees and campaigns.
Most recently, Lawler played an integral role in the 9th CD Special Election of Bob Turner in September, coordinating efforts between the National Committees and the campaign, recruiting volunteers from around New York and neighboring States, and developing a mail plan.
In his new role as Executive Director, Lawler will continue to work with the County Committees to build upon Republican successes across New York and coordinate efforts with the various State and National Republican Committees to ensure we are victorious in 2012 and beyond.
